The making of Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil

Here is a story of the process of extracting coconut oil:

1. Male monkeys collect the coconuts from the towering treetops.
2. Once harvested, the coconut must dry out before the husk is removed by hand.
3. What is left is the shell or “Plog”, inside of which is the water and milk. The meat is removed from the “Plog”, by hand.
4. The shell is then processed. This hard, durable material can be used to make furniture, kitchen and household utensils, candle holders or charcoal for cooking.
5. Contrary to popular belief the milk is not in the hollow shell, it’s in the meat. This milk is only removed after the meat is ground up, placed in a special bag and then pressed. This pressing is done twice to ensure removal of as much milk as possible. Water is added to the second pressing.
6. The oil comes from the milk. This is later placed in containers and then left to sit for up to 48-hours. During this time the milk and oil separate.

The oil is so pure that it can be used on every part of your body .Also it is   edible and this oil is especially good for detoxification.
It takes 30 to 40 coconuts to produce one litre of oil and it must be removed from the container, by skimming it off the top within 48 hours of extracting.The quality of this “virgin oil” is so good it can be guaranteed for up to one year.
